Our foundation

Built in Rwanda. Connected to the World.

Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda, Alkareem Trading Group was established as a strategic business hub connecting Africa with global markets.

Our business has developed around real market requirements. What began as a vision for stronger commercial connections between Africa and the world has grown into an integrated platform covering green coffee, business and investment consultation, agriculture, land acquisition, export and import, international sourcing, and government and institutional relations.

Our development

Our Story

Since 2022, Alkareem has expanded across several complementary sectors, each developed in response to practical business needs. Green Coffee required production, processing, packaging and export capability. Agricultural projects required greenhouse systems, irrigation, seeds, fertilizers and technical support. Investors required market research, legal and financial guidance, land, local coordination and stakeholder engagement. International trade required global sourcing, negotiation, documentation and logistics.

Together, these capabilities created the integrated business model that defines Alkareem today.

Our direction

Vision

To become a trusted strategic gateway between Africa and the global economy, enabling investment, trade, partnerships and sustainable commercial growth across borders.

What this requires

Mission

  • Connect African products, businesses and opportunities with international markets.

  • Support global investors and companies entering Rwanda and wider African markets.

  • Provide strong business intelligence, strategic consultation and investment facilitation.

  • Strengthen agricultural value chains, food security, market access and commercial production.

  • Facilitate international sourcing, export and import through reliable commercial networks.

  • Build long-term relationships based on transparency, confidentiality, execution and shared value.

Private-sector contribution

Supporting Rwanda Vision 2050

Alkareem supports the direction of Rwanda Vision 2050 by contributing to the areas where private-sector capability can create practical value: investment facilitation, international market access, stronger exports, commercial agriculture, professional business services, technology-led agricultural solutions and productive cross-border partnerships.

Rwanda Vision 2050 calls for economic transformation, greater private-sector participation, stronger export capacity and a modern, market-oriented agricultural sector. Alkareem’s work supports these ambitions by helping investors enter the market, helping businesses establish and operate responsibly, connecting agricultural production with international buyers, and bringing global products, expertise and technologies into Rwanda.

While Rwanda is our home and strategic base, our outlook remains intentionally wider. Alkareem is built to support African growth and global commercial connectivity without limiting its identity to one market.

Who We Are

Alkareem Trading Group supports investors, companies, buyers and suppliers that need reliable local intelligence and international commercial reach. We understand that entering a new market or developing a cross-border business opportunity requires more than introductions. It requires context, due diligence, professional support, credible relationships and consistent follow-up.

Our role is to bring these elements together. We help international businesses understand Rwanda and the wider African market, while helping African products, companies and investment opportunities access global partners and markets.
